The Story
Crafted in Tsubame-Sanjo, Niigata - Japan’s most renowned region for metalworking and cookware craftsmanship - this iron grill pan reflects generations of traditional tool making shaped since the Muromachi period.
Made from durable iron, the pan offers excellent heat retention and even heat distribution, helping ingredients cook consistently while developing rich flavour and beautifully crisp textures.
Designed for yakiniku, gyoza, grilled vegetables, seafood, and everyday stovetop grilling, the broad cooking surface provides generous space for cooking multiple ingredients comfortably at once. The shallow, wide form also makes it well suited to shared dining and table serving.
The included stainless steel lid helps retain heat and moisture during cooking, making it especially useful for steaming gyoza, finishing grilled dishes, and reducing oil splatter during cooking.
Ideal for creating crisp-bottomed gyoza and flavourful grilled meats, the iron surface naturally develops character through continued use, becoming more familiar and reliable over time.
