Featuring Kisho, Nishiizu by Kawase Hasui, this cloth captures the artist’s quiet, atmospheric landscapes and delicate use of light. A leading figure of the shin hanga movement, Hasui’s work reflects the poetic beauty of Japan’s scenery during the Taisho and Showa periods. The scene evokes a sense of calm, with the sea’s depth and subtle movement bringing a gentle presence to everyday life.
Part of the “Edayori” series, these illustrated cloths are designed to carry a sense of thoughtfulness - like sending a visual message through pattern and design.
These dishcloths are crafted using traditional Japanese printing techniques. They are 6 layers thick, making them exceptionally durable.
